How do I host a domain?

Posted on February 1, 2014

I know it sounds like a silly question. But I have no idea how to do it with a VPS. I can do it with normal web hosting… Just not A VPS.

I want to host a domain I have a Linux box and its running Aapache2.

Do I just point the ips to my VPS and that’s it?

You can add the domain on the DNS page in the DigitalOcean control panel and then create a virtual host for Apache. You can Google tutorials for your operating system on how to create a virtual host file for Apache.
