How should I update my droplet?

Hello.

I tried to use the search function, but to no avail. I’m pretty the answer is out there, but I don’t know how to ask it. So I’m sorry for the probably dumb question.

I’m woking on my first website and for test purposes I did an “alpha” version and it worked fine. However, now I have a prettier version and I want to put it online. Is there a way to update the files in my droplet without losing all configuration? All the things changed in newer version are merely front end stuff (design, new templates, things like that), the “backend” should be the same.

It’s a django app, I followed this tutorial.
