Question

How to add additional IP for droplet

Hello

Is there any way we can add additional IP to the droplet. I am having a droplet for the apache-server, and I would like to assign different IPs for each domain in the virtual host. This is something very necessary for the SEO score. Please let me know, If we have any option in the Digital Ocean for that.

Thanks Vinay Saini

Hey Vinay,

Sorry to say but if you may please refer to the FAQ section, https://www.digitalocean.com/help/technical/setup/

You may see, DO doesn’t allow more than 1 IP per droplet !!

For Dedicated IP per domain, I guess the option is separate droplet per domain…

Thanks…

Can we use any external providers to map IP

Can my Digital Ocean droplet run without a IPv4 address? The software I am using is WHM/cPanel.

The reason why I need to understand if this is possible, is because our primary Digital Ocean IP address is spammed. Every few months our only client on the server contacts us and wants to cancel.

We’re only running this one user but we have been told by UCEPROTECTL3 that it’s not always our IP, but range from the network provider.

The ideal solution to this problem is to get an additional IP address from Digital Ocean, but if this is not possible, I need to understand if our software will carry on working with just IPV6.
