I am trying to setup RedMail on Ubuntu 14. When I go to the DNS page to add MX records, I see only “Add Gmail MX Records” .

You will have to add the records manually by creating MX records pointing to the hostname of your mail server. The Google MX button simply auto-completes this for you by adding in the known google MX server details.

  • “by creating MX records pointing to the hostname of your mail server”
Where is the option to create MX records manually? Can you point to an example?

  • When you click on the Create Record button and then on the MX button you will see the fields for hostname and priority alongside the Create button. These appear above the “Add Gmail MX Records” button.
