Hello I’v moved to using cPanel/WHM instead of CWP and in CWP, we all use mail.domain.com as webmail URL and when moved to cPanel it changed to webmail.domain.com as webmail URL
is there any way to do that ?
maybe change default webmail.domain.com to be mail.domain.com as a main webmail login URL
or
adding mail.domain.com to be an alias of webmail.domain.com
or
make mail.domain.com redirect to webmail.domain.com somehow, without creating **mail **subdomain
or
use .htaccess in virtual sub-domain or anywhere and do the redirect from webmail.domain.com to mail.domain.com on it?
Thanks and waiting for your answers. Regards,

Hi @MotazHakim,
So, there should be a couple of ways to do this. The first one should be fairly easy using DNS.
What you can do is add your mail.domain.com DNS as a CNAME which leads to webmail.domain.com . This should be enough when you load mail.domain.com to see the content of webamil.
If you want another solution, I’ve checked the cPanel forums for you and this is what I saw that can most probably help you out:

Hope this helps!
