Hi, I want you to help me please, I have a problem with Cloudflare and its DNS records, I don’t really understand which ones to use and how to configure them. I have my server on a droplet, my domain is on Godaddy, and I use Cloudflare’s CDN. What I want is to configure the DNS correctly to solve the connection problems that I am having now.

Hi @hcmendez,

You’ll need to have Cloudflare’s Nameservers configured. As soon as you do, you should be able to configure your DNS records. Basically, what it does it hides your A record so that attackers won’t be able to directly attack your domain or droplet. From there you can point your DNS to your droplet with DigitalOcean

There is a pretty good documentation page which you can use here - DNS Documentation

Adding DNS records
Log in to the Cloudflare dashboard.
Click the appropriate Cloudflare account for the domain where you will add records.
Ensure the proper domain is selected.
Click the DNS app.
The UI interface for adding DNS records appears under DNS Records.
