How to delegate a subdomain to a team?

I was hoping to delegate a subdomain managed through Digital Ocean DNS to a team I am the owner of. This would be super helpful as it reduces switching between teams. I could not find anything in the official documentation so my hopes aren’t too high: https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/networking/dns/

I stumbled upon these 2 questions on the forum from 6 years ago. Has the situation changed since then?

The suggested solution from the second one, using Cloudflare to delegate the domains separately, wouldn’t improve the situation, as it introduces complexity in managing the root domain.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Great idea, sounds like it’d be super useful!

It looks like someone has had the same idea before and has posted it on our Product Ideas board. The best thing to do would be to head over and add your vote to it, as well as adding any additional information in the comments for exactly what you’d like to see implemented!

Hi, I have also different teams, and want to delegate a subdomain to each teams? It means each teams can change their subdomain IP as they want.

ideas.digitalocean.com seems to use a different signup account! it’s strange.

in this website, the only reply i can find which is similary is closed. The answer is move your domain access to your team. So if we have many teams, it’s not possible.

I would like to vote for a solution for one domain and multiple teams.
