Hello,
I am a beginner in deployment and I’m working on a project that consists of two Vite+Vue applications and one Django API. The two Vite applications are separated by directories; one resides at the default “domain/” and the other at “domain/office”. During development, I’ve been using NGINX to manage these directories.
I’ve created a project on DigitalOcean’s App Platform with three components: ‘front’, ‘office’, and ‘api’. While the build completes successfully, the deployment logs show the error: “ERROR: failed to launch: determine start command: process type web was not found.”
For the Django API, I’ve followed this tutorial: Deploy a Django App on App Platform. However, I couldn’t find any documentation explaining what the start command should be for a static website built in the /dist
directory.
Could you please guide me on what the start command should be for deploying my Vite+Vue applications on App Platform? Or any other recommendation for deploying my website with django api?
Thank you!
