How to disable direct IP access on an Openlitespeed droplet?

Posted on September 30, 2020

Hi,

I am new to using droplets and my website is https://www.movie-weekly.com.au.

My website is working fine but it is also accessible by its public IP address. I want to disable this and maybe show a blank page or some generic page to the users. I am sorry if this is a newbie question, I am new to DigitalOcean.

I am using Ubuntu 20.04 with Openlitespeed WordPress. I couldn’t find a working solution to do this anywhere. Please help!

Thank you

Hi,

  1. Please allow port 7080 from SSH Console
  2. Access OpenLiteSpeed Web Server WebAdmin > Listeners, and remove the IP from both HTTP and HTTPS listeners.
