I have several WordPress sites running on a Digital Ocean droplet. I want to disable just one. I already did
a2dissite sitedomain.conf
so it no longer shows as enabled. What else do I need to do? Delete the domain from the control panel?

Heya, @leorawe
You’ve already done the main step by running a2dissite sitedomain.conf
. To fully disable that one WordPress site:
sudo systemctl reload apache2
(Optional) Remove or comment out the domain’s DNS records in your DNS provider or DigitalOcean’s control panel if you no longer want it accessible via the domain.
(Optional) If you’re not using the files anymore, you can delete the site’s directory (e.g. /var/www/sitedomain
), but it’s not required to disable it.
You don’t have to delete the domain from DigitalOcean control panel unless you want to stop DNS or free it up.
