hi my server was working properly and after a couple days i tried to open my web site today now i am getting 502 gateway error. what could be the problem?
i have ubuntu 14.04

the problem might be with the backend server
- check the health of the backend server to which you are sending the requests
- check the health of the request your are sending to the server. check if the load balance is configured properly with the backend server
- check network connection and see if the servers can communicate on other ports and make sure firewall is allowing traffic between them
