I have a query.
I got a domain named abc.com and i want to set nameserver as ns1.abc.com and ns2.abc.com.
I know how to do it by creating child nameserver.
But the problem is, i have a server example 111.111.111.111 where i have cpanel hosted.
and i have another server i.e. 222.222.222.222 which i want to use as reverse proxy, so my main domain shows only 222.222.222.222 ip as main ip which in the backend, forward all traffic to 111.111.111.111.
My main objective here is to hide my main ip i.e. 111.111.111.111 and create a name server with my reverse proxy ip so i can use it in multiple domain, can it be done?

Hi @sonuyos
That would defeat the purpose of having multiple name servers, since everything would be proxied through server2, so if that went down, then nothing would work. And you shouldn’t look at name servers as parent-child, but more as master-master, since they should be able to run by themselves with or without any of the others.
If you’re just looking for branded look, then you could use DigitalOcean’s name servers instead of setting up your own servers: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-create-vanity-or-branded-nameservers-with-digitalocean-cloud-servers
Reverse proxies act as middlemen between the online server and internet. When browsers make a request, the DNS routes request to the reverse proxy server.
