Hi, Digital Oceans
I am interested in digitaloceans hosting after i saw my friends website having thousands of daily visitors. I am really inspired by your service.
However, i am getting down-time for my existing hosting when visitors increased fastly. So i am planning to migrate all my sites from asmall orange company to your hosting.
I am running VPS for one site and using shared hosting package for remaining 4 websites.
So my main question is that:> can i transfer my VPS to your hosting or i am only able to transfer my shared hosting websites ?
Also do let me know, will your agent will help me to transfer all my site here ? I am not expert to migrate sites.

This is entirely possible! What I’ll recommend using in this case is a LAMP droplet. Good thing is DigitalOcean does have a pretty good article about the same process you are describing -https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-linux-apache-mysql-php-lamp-stack-ubuntu-18-04
You’ll need to configure this yourself however the article walks you through the process.
As for the migration, you’ll need to again do it yourself however it’s not that hard, you can do it using FTP. For that, you’ll need to configure an FTP service, again DigitalOcean and have a pretty good https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-set-up-vsftpd-for-a-user-s-directory-on-ubuntu-18-04
