Hi, I want to move our droplet from Ubuntu 32 to 64 bit platform. Is there any other issues we need to consider aside from having a backup of our config files and data. Looking forward to your assistance

take a snapshot of the current droplet.

create a new droplet from that snapshot, test everything.

cut over with a floating IP (instant switch) or lower DNS TTL, then update DNS.

for near-zero downtime, rsync files and db to the new box while live, then do a quick final sync before the switch.
That’s it—clean, controlled, and easy to roll back if needed.
