Hi everyone! So here is my problem: I’am new at freelance and Web development and I just got my first freelance job (I need to build an e-Commerce website from scratch), but I dont know how to move a DO droplet to my client(So that I do not pay for the server of his site). He doesnt have anything at all (like a domain name, DO account, SFTP, SSH etc) he just want to have his website. He said “I dont want to have any pain in the ass with it”. We made an agreement that i will do all stuff by myself. Should I convince him to create his own DO account and let me work with it via SFTP? Or should I use my own DO account and droplet and then somehow move it to him?

Do yu found the solution to move the droplet to your customer ? I have the same problem and I want to know if it is possible.
If he doesn’t want any pain, why don’t you continue to host it for him on your account and charge him a monthly fee?
Then he doesn’t have to worry about a Digital Ocean account, you get your costs and then some extra to perform any required maintenance.
Well, I want to say that it is normal if there are 1-2 such clients, so I can manage servers for them, but if it’s 10 or more, it’s pretty hard to deal with. So, are there any other solutions?(maybe without DigitalOcean)
