How to pay with cryptocurrency?

You can’t pay with cryptocurrency at this time. I think the only ways to pay are over Paypal or a credit card. Having said that, for payment issues I’ll always suggest reaching the DigitalOcean’s support rather than the community here. While we do try to help in every situation possible, we don’t have access to such matters as billing.

DigitalOcean accepts the following payment methods:

Credit and debit cards. You can set credit and debit cards as your primary payment method. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, UnionPay, Diners Club, and JCB credit cards.

Credit and debit cards from India need to be enabled for international transactions. Cards issued by Citibank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, IndusInd Bank, RBL Bank, Axis Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank are less likely to be declined than other banks.

Third-party providers, like PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. We accept pre-payment using PayPal but you cannot use it as your primary payment method.

We do not accept a virtual, electron, or prepaid cards.

You can add, modify, and remove payment methods on the Billing page in the Payment methods section.

In June 2022 I successfully paid with paywithmoon.com which makes a virtual VISA from Bitcoins you keep at Coinbase. Now, DO fails to complete the transaction from a newly created card for some reason :( Searching for a solution too.
