Hi.Yesterday I removed my droplet accidently. I should use that IP address for my business.
Can anyone help me to restore the IP address for my new droplet?
Best Regards, Bruce

Hey @BraceLiu987
Sorry to hear that happened. Unfortunately it isn’t possible to get that IP address back after the droplet is deleted. Once a droplet is deleted the IP is returned to the pool of available IP’s and a new droplet would get it assigned. I’d recommend in the future using a Floating IP They aren’t removed when a droplet is deleted.
Hope it helps! Nate
Hi there,
If you have a snapshot of the droplet you can re-create the droplet to its previous state with ease but the IP address will be different.
https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/images/snapshots/how-to/create-and-restore-droplets/
The Floating IP service is now called Reserved IPs. The Reserved IP service retains the same functionality as the prior service.
DigitalOcean reserved IPs are publicly-accessible static IP addresses that you can assign to Droplets and instantly remap between other Droplets in the same data centre. Implement a failover mechanism with reserved IPs to build a high availability infrastructure.
