There are a few things that I could suggest:
- Make sure to remove any plugins that you do not need and that are not being used
- Delete all themes that are not active
- Optimize your MySQL service as per the instructions here: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/questions/my-droplet-keeps-going-down-trying-to-optimize-mysql
- Install PHP OPcache as per the instructions here: https://devdojo.com/bobbyiliev/how-to-speed-up-your-laravel-application-with-php-opcache
- Add a CDN like Cloudflare
- Install a caching plugin like WP Rocket to reduce the overall load on the server
- Optimize your images, you could do that with a plugin like Smush
