I can not access my VPS, mistake ssh keys

Posted on June 14, 2014

Hello everyone:

He was playing with the keys via ssh and create a root for me, then I added the following line: “PermitRootLogin without-password” in the following file: / etc / ssh / sshd_config

And now I can not access my VPS, anyone knows how can I fix it? I will be greatly thankful

Yo,

Have you tried to access your droplet/server through the console on the control panel DigitalOcean provides you with? If you can, you can go and revert the changes there. Otherwise, FTP or some other protocol could work if you got write permissions for the file.

If not, revert to a backup (if you got it) or try and submit a ticket to support. There is not a lot of other things you can do if you do not have access to your server.

Sincerely, Jon Brede.
