I can not add a domain to the droplet.
I see an error all the time - Domain ‘dzerkalo.info’: name already exists.

What to do?

Hi @dzerkalozt,

It really depends on the Web Server you are using - Apache/Nginx. However the error itself would state you actually have it added to the configuration.

If you are using Apache, here is an article which might help you with how to configure the conf file - https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-set-up-apache-virtual-hosts-on-ubuntu-16-04

If you are using Nginx, give this article a read :

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-set-up-nginx-server-blocks-virtual-hosts-on-ubuntu-16-04

Don’t mind that it’s for Ubuntu 16.04, it should work as well on 18.04.

Additionally, if you actually have any other configuration on your droplet, let me know and I’ll provide you with steps what to check and how to resolve your issue.

Regards,
KDSys

The Apache web server is the most popular way to serve web content on the internet. Apache has the ability to serve multiple domains from a single server by using a mechanism called "virtual hosts". If a virtual host is configured correctly for each domain, the web server can correctly route traffic to the appropriate files based on the domain name requested. In this guide, we'll demonstrate how to configure Apache virtual hosts on an Ubuntu 16.04 server.
