i went through the steps and connected with ssh, i went to the generated link, it redirected me to WHM login. without providing me any username/password. also according to the instructions i should be seeing a user agreement page instead. and lastly, i can’t even ask this question on cpanel/support/ticket/ because their submit button is greyed out. i don’t know if it is just me bad at tech or i am using garbage.

Hello, @alvintian2003
We have an existing tutorial on how to install cPanel/WHM on CentOS 6. If your CentOS version is newer you can still follow the listed steps in the tutorial as the process is not different from installing it on CentOS 6, the same rules apply to CentOS 7. You can check the tutorial here: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-cpanel-on-a-virtual-server-running-centos-6
To install cPanel & WHM on your server, run the following command:
cd /home && curl -o latest -L https://securedownloads.cpanel.net/latest && sh latest
You can also check the official cPanel docs:
https://docs.cpanel.net/installation-guide/install/
You can also quickly deploy a cPanel/WHM droplet from our marketplace:
https://marketplace.digitalocean.com/apps/cpanel-whm
New installations of cPanel come with a 15-day free trial. For further use beyond that point, a valid license will need to be purchased directly through cPanel. https://store.cpanel.net/view/cpanel/license-options?type=VPS
Hope this helps! Regards, Alex
Hello @alvintian2003
I’m not sure if you are manually installing the WHM/cPanel in the Droplet or you are using the available marketplace image. I would recommend you to use the marketplace image [1] and follow the instruction listed under a section named Getting started after deploying cPanel & WHM®
