i getting any error whenever I try to upload something to my new droplet, “Permission denied. Please contact your web hosting service provider for assistance.”

What SFTP client are you using? Keep in mind that the login details are the same as SSH, and that the user you are logged in as must have write permissions to the directory that you are uploading files to.
thanks for taking time to repel, I’m using Cyberduck … but i figured it out … I created a new user and didn’t have the same permission as root
