I was trying to setup mail this morning in C-Panel and for no apparent reason, I’m now kicked out of cpanel, kicked out of WHM and my password for root login on SSH won’t work. I’m baffled because I made no changes…

If this happens again please make sure to access your droplet via ssh and examine the cPanel access and error_log when you try to access cPanel/WHM.
If this issue continue and you’re unable to access the control panel you can try with an alternative browser or reset the droplet password as a last resort option.

probably solved by restarting. I’d still be interesting in ideas about why this happened though…
