I have this issue only at digitalocean.
My droplet: 1 vCPU 2GB / 50GB Disk.
webserver: Nginx.
No php, SQL, or anything advanced just a web server with 1 site. All the images are getting loaded slowly, like it is chopped up to several lines and the server is serving them line by line to load the image in my browser.
I also have a dedicated server with the same nginx configuration, and this issue does not exists.
WHY?? Is the $12 droplet not enough to serve images?

That is odd. Is it by any chance you’ve created a Droplet in a region that’s far away from you.
Let me give you an example. If you live in London but create the Droplet in Bangalore it’s bound to load slower for you than if you created the Droplet in the Longon region.
Additionally, it might just be the images being too big. I’ll recommend checking a third-party tool about your website speed and see if still shows as it’s loading slowly.
