IPv6 reverse dns updated via the API

can the IPv6 reverse DNS record be updated via the API?
I am seeking a REST type of IPv6 reverse DNS record update solution.

  • Is it possible to update more than just the first IPv6 PTR? It’s good to have a reverse DNS for the first address, but the other 15 don’t have a PTR.

The API does allow you to create and update DNS records, including IPv6. Though, we do not support setting rDNS directly for either IPv4 or IPv6. rDNS (PTR ) records are automatically configured for your IPs based on the hostname that you provide for your droplet. For IPv6, it is only for the first address that is assigned.
