I’m having trouble installing ATLAS, which requires cpu throttling disabled.
Do i have to do something special? or this is unlikely to work in a VM environment?

Is the throttling temporary if you’re using 100% for a couple of hours or permanent for the droplet? If not, how long does it take to reset the throttle? Is there any way to see the throttling status?
Hello,
CPU throttling is not done by default, but can happen in some cases. The best way to find out for sure is to open a ticket directly with our Support staff!
They can quickly answer your questions regarding that. As for if it will run in a VM or not, this is hard to say. I’m not entirely sure what you mean by ATLAS. I did a quick google search and it appears to be a data analysis software suite. This shouldn’t be an issue, but you will want to ensure you have a droplet large enough to handle the requirements of the software.
It may not run on our smaller droplets due to it’s needs.
