I would like to fully automate the generation and configuration of database client credentials. Are custom certs a consideration for future versions of the managed database service?

I need this functionality too. I’m currently deploying DigitalOcean using Terraform and need the ability t receive the CA certificate over API and setup some other servers.

It is currently not possible to retrieve the ca-cert via API. This is an oversight on our side. We are planning to amend this gap very soon.
just got stuck on this issue when creating k8s cluster and mongo databases via terraform. Any news? did I miss something in the terraform provider?
