I have installed openvswitch one of my droplets. The br-ex and eth0 both come up just fine. However I can’t connect to my droplet. Am I missing a step or its just not possible?

Without knowing anything about Open vSwitch, it seems like they support KVM, which is the hypervisor DigitalOcean is using.
But I’m not sure if you can install it on the virtual server and get the benefits from it.
There must be some error logs in /var/log/openvswitch/ or maybe /var/log/syslog.
Just out of curiosity, what’s the gain of running OvS?
@hansen this rdo packstack all in on install https://www.rdoproject.org/install/packstack/. Basically a one node openstack install. With you your install you can setup a bridge to place your public ip on and then keep your others private. Setting up default routes and os forth
Hi @hansen. This was my attempt to do a packstack install. I have a work around but just wasnt sure where I was failing at. So when packstack implementation i go simulate a rdo install. I see you can do it on aws wasn’t sure where the problem was here. Everything is up and running just can’t get to it.
