Hello. I want to use VPN on my VPS, but I’ve already tried with 2 other VPS from different services, and they both failed. I tried connecting with NordVPN to them, but they just shut down and I had to reboot the servers. I want to know if settings up a VPN is possible on digitalocean before buying.

Yes this should be doable. What I usually do is to use the OpenVPN image from the Marketplace here:
https://marketplace.digitalocean.com/apps/openvpn-access-server
It works out of the box and is really quick to setup.
