As we now that we can set maximum HTTP requests / second from a single client in Haproxy or Nginx load balancer. Is this configuration or an equivalent feature exists in Digitalocean load balancer?

DO’s load balancer is rate limited to 200 requests per second. Currently this is not a configurable option.
Hello folks,
I’m the product manager for Load Balancers at DO. We do not have a requests per second rate limit on the Load Balancers, we have other limits, like numbers of simultaneous connections, but not a limit on the number of requests.
The size of the payloads will impact how many requests an LB can handle, the smaller the payload the more requests it can handle, and that varies by application, but we don’t have a hard limit on the product.
For Load Balancer limits, please check the documentation: https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/networking/load-balancers/#limits
I hope this clarifies the situation.
Cheers
Allowing a hacker to hit a login, password reset or other security sensitive endpoint 200 times per second is too much. Will DO load balancers ever have configurable rate limiting?
