Hi,
Unfortunately, after resetting the password, the connection to the server is being terminated. Additionally, we are still able to access the server using the old password you provided, which means the password reset is not working. The password reset prompt keeps appearing as well.

Hey @gagimilicevic,
I think that sometimes after a password reset from the dashboard, the Droplet doesn’t fully reboot or apply the new password right away.
Make sure the Droplet has actually rebooted after the reset. You can do that from the dashboard just to be sure.
If you’re still able to log in with the old password, that probably means the cloud-init script didn’t complete the password change. In some cases, resetting again and waiting a bit longer before logging in has helped.
If it keeps looping or doesn’t update at all, it’s best to reach out to support: https://do.co/support, they can check if the reset was applied properly behind the scenes.
Hope that helps!

Heya, @gagimilicevic
You can try connecting with:
This ensures you’re testing password auth directly, without cached keys interfering.
If this is still not working, you can try resetting it again, and as mentioned, wait a little bit longer. The last resort option will be reaching out to our support team, and they will assist you.
