Hey, I was curious if anyone else has trouble connecting to mysql after creating a LAMP 18.04 one click server. I have to go in and reset the mysql password to get in now. Before with 16.04 I just cat the password and used it to connect with a client.

Just to bump this up - i’ve just had to create a new user and password in order to connect a PHP application too.
I know it’s good practice to do this anyway, but it should work out of the box with root.
