Hy, I need to configure the load balance service with a let’s encrypt certificate but I am not the domain owner. The domain owner could delegate a subdomain but still get an error in certificate generation. Could I configure a certificate with this subdomain delegation or I should need the top-level domain ownership?
Regards! Ariel

Hi Ariel,
Our SSL service for load balancers would require that the apex domain be configured to use our nameservers. Unfortunately delegating a subdomain wouldn’t work for SSL issuance. However you are welcome to bring your own certificate which could be used to cover just the subdomain. Certificates :: Security
Hope it helps! Nate
