Currently load balancers only suport sticky sessions via cookies. That isn’t useful when load balancing non browser traffic (e.g. JSON-RPC, gRPC, etc.).
Therefore please provide a way to enable sticky sessions via IP/port hash for example.

Looking at the docs, I think that you’re right that the DigitalOcean Load Balancer only supports cookie-based stickiness, which doesn’t help with gRPC or JSON-RPC.
What you could do is post this as a feature request on the DigitalOcean ideas board:
