Hi, I’ve multiple droplets in which I have hosted apps for my clients, I want to know if there is any way (or API) to handle billing of each droplet independently? Like I want to send invoices for respective droplet to each client and if they don’t pay, I’ll stop the droplet etc. In my case, a client of mine is responsible for paying one or multiple droplet invoices, so can I handle them independently? I just want to know which droplet has what amount and when it is due, so it’ll be sent to the client.
Any builtin functionality that I’m unaware of or any API that can handle this?

Hey @usmansanawar,
I believe that this is not really possible out of the box via the DigitalOcean API itself.
The best thing to do to get your voice heard regarding this would be to head over to our Product Ideas board and post a new idea, including as much information as possible for what you’d like to see implemented.
An alternative option is to have a billing system like WHMCS or Hostbill to manage the invoices for you.
Hope that helps!

Heya,
As mentioned this is not a feature that the API has at the moment or a feature withing the DigitalOcean panel.
With that being said, if you post this as an idea/feature reqeust in the ideas board, please to provide us with the link, I’m eager to upvote it to help it to get some traction.
Heya,
Unfortunately, this is not possible with the API at the moment as built-in functionality. I’ll also recommend using a billing tool like WHMCS or Hostbill
These tools will automatically provision Droplets and offer your clients tools to manage the servers in your WHMCS.
