I’m trying to set up multiple Domains on a single VestaCP Droplet, but I haven’t been able to do so yet. I was wondering if anyone knew how to properly setup the DNS settings from a Domain Register(I’m using GoDaddy). I’m not looking for anything like Vanity/Branding DNS, just proper DNS Settings so I can manage multiple Domains in VestaCP.
Thanks! I have two domains, lets call them Domain1.com and Domain2.com. For both domains I’ve pointed their nameservers to ns1.digitaloceans.com & ns2.digitaloceans.com. Now for some reason, only 1 of the Domains will connect when I visit their URLs. I’m wondering what I’m doing wrong here.

I know nothing about Vesta, so I can’t advise you specifically on that. I use Virtualmin, which has some DNS functions, but I don’t use them. I use only DO’s DNS controls, and it all works great.
First make sure you’re using the correct name servers. It’s digitalocean.com - not digitaloceans.com.
Once you have done that, you need to set up the appropriate records using the Digital Ocean DNS control panel - an A record at the very least. Just point it at your droplet. The control panel makes it easy.
Hey Larry,
I am using ns1.digitalocean.com & ns2.digitalocean.com, that was a mistake in the comment.

Do I have use both DO’s DNS Control Panel in conjunction with the Vesta DNS Control Panel, or am I able to just use Vesta’s DNS Control Panel?
