I have a domain (say example.com) already created using DigitalOcean control panel and now I create a new droplet with hostname like newhost.example.com .
Would it add a A record automatically to DNS entries?
And in such case
nslookup newhost.example.com ns1.digitalocean.com should lookup the ip of newhost, is that right?
For some reason this isn’t working for me.
TIA

My bad. I misinterpreted name description in create_droplet API which says “The name, if set to a domain name managed in the DigitalOcean DNS management system, will configure a PTR record for the Droplet.”.
