Hello, I created a brand new droplet and I’m following this guide: How to configure Multiple Domains with Nginx on Ubuntu
but when I get to Validate our Configuration and Start Nginx, it says that I have to type:
sudo nginx -t -c /etc/nginx/sites-available/domain-one.com.conf
it tells me:
nginx: [emerg] "server" directive is not allowed here in /etc/nginx/sites-available/afern247.com.conf:1
nginx: configuration file /etc/nginx/sites-available/afern247.com.conf test failed
Did anyone had this problem before that can help?
Thank you

Hello friend!
I don’t see anything wrong with the guide technically, but sometimes errors are not easily seen visually. I can tell you that we have a guide for it here:
That should apply to Ubuntu 18 all the same. If you run into trouble along the way with it, you may want to start over again and go a bit more slowly. It can be much more painful to re-trace your steps and find out where an error was made.
Kind Regards Jarland
