I have successfully started a CentOS 7 64bit droplet on the Singapore node and have SSH access. I’ve installed Apache as per the install LAMP tutorial but when installing mysql I get an error
No package mysql-server available. Error: Nothing to do.
I’ve tried cleaning the Yum repository cache to no avail. It has picked up the repos.lax.quadranet.com and linux.mirrors.es.net as the fastest mirrors and both give this error.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Right. CentOS 7 (as well as RHEL 7) does not include MySQL. It instead ships MariaDB which a drop in replacement. You can install it with:
sudo yum install mariadb-server mariadb
