Why packet loss too much recent days???
I have a new $15 plan Singapore droplet and its ip is 159.65.5.36 I make ping test from other Singapore server many times, the packet loss rate even more than 50%!!!
ping from other SGP server:
--- 159.65.5.36 ping statistics ---
96 packets transmitted, 63 received, 34% packet loss, time 95548ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 1.657/1.919/8.074/0.814 ms
ping from digitalocean BLR server:
--- 159.65.5.36 ping statistics ---
60 packets transmitted, 28 received, 53% packet loss, time 59590ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 40.481/40.972/47.444/1.333 ms
I just start use digitalocean, and I found its network very unstable, even can not ssh from digitalocean BLR server…
root@debian-s-1vcpu-1gb-blr1-01:~# ssh root@159.65.5.36
ssh: connect to host 159.65.5.36 port 22: Connection timed out
I open a ticket yesterday and so far still did not receive a reply, the experience is very poor, very disappointed!!!

I’ve had similar experience, every few weeks we’ll experience 6+ hours of packet loss, we’ll submit a support ticket with a mtr, and they’ll respond with a boilerplate response 12 hours later that they need a mtr. Then it happens again a few weeks later
