Question

Plans for a dropplet with no IPV4

Is their a plan to make IPv6 only dropplets avaliable?

If you have a balancer with the dropplets behind them they do not really need a IPv4 address. WIth the shortage of IPv4 addresses this would help make more avaliable.

Hi there,

Haven’t seen anything about IPv6-only Droplets so far, but that’s a great idea!

Would be cool if more people asked for it. Definitely worth posting it on https://ideas.digitalocean.com/ so it’s on the DigitalOcean’s radar!

If you decide to post that, feel free to share the link here so I can also upvote it.
