We check all documents we can but are still unable to set the timezone from UTC to Singapore on our database,please help us set it asap

Depending on the product you are using the way to set this is different.
Let’s assume you are using Managed Database, in such a case, you’ll need to contact DigitalOcean’s support to change it for you as currently you can’t do it from your end.
If you have a separate Droplet that you’ve installed an SQL instance on it, you’ll need to change the timezone of the Droplet.
As soon as you are in, you can check your timezone using the timedatectl command. The system timezone is configured by symlinking
/etc/localtime
to a binary timezone identifier in the/usr/share/zoneinfo
directory. Alternatively, you can also check the current system’s timezone by displaying the contents of the/etc/timezone
file.There are a few possibilities to change the timezone. The first one is using timedatectl

What database are you using? It’s a managed database by Digitalocean or standalone installation?
