Whenever I try to ssh onto my new droplet I’m getting a ‘Please wait while we get your droplet ready’ message. It’s been like this for days now.
Has anybody else experienced this.

Hello,
This should usually take only a couple of minutes. Did you use a specific image from the Marketplace or is it a plain Ubuntu server?
What I could suggest is destroying this Droplet in case it is a blank one, and creating a new one.
Best,
Bobby
Hi @JonStones,
That is very strange, it should be done in no more than 2-3 minutes. I’ll suggest you to re-create the droplet again and see if it still experiences the same error, it shouldn’t!
Let me know how it goest, I’m reluctant to see where this has gone.
This has also been happening for me (using an image to create a droplet), likely that is the problem here when resetting the root user password for some reason.
