PositiveSSL installation on Apache

Posted on January 15, 2022

My server has an IspCONFIG with Apache on Ubuntu 20.04. Also i issued 2 single-domain PositiveSSL via Namecheap for config.example.com and example.com. Domain is managed by Namecheap ISPCONFIG provides self-signed ssl for control panel (config.example.com). I don’t really sure what is issue, but when i install PositiveSSL on main domain (example.com) it says that it is untrusted, and when i install other SSL on config.example.com it says that it is issued for example.com, however i issued it for config subdomain Comodo support is “unbelieavable”, so i can’t reach to them.

Hi @mandar7n4ever,

I think this is an issue with the certificate rather than your Droplet, Apache installation, or Apache domain config. The domain it’s issued for is as you might’ve guessed related to the SSL issuer so sadly, I don’t think anyone would be able to assist here and Comodo might be the proper way forward. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!
