I’m curious to know if DigitalOcean would be suitable for hosting a website that allows users to check their FESCO bills online. I’m exploring the idea of creating a similar platform to the FESCO Bill Website.
Specifically, I’m interested in:
- Understanding the technical requirements and best practices for developing such a site.
- Seeking advice on deploying and optimizing the website on DigitalOcean.
For Reference you can check out this fesco bill website that allow fesco customer to check fesco bill online. If I develop a website like this one, Digital Ocean Servers will be suitable or not?

Yes, you can use DigitalOcean to built such an application. There are two ways to go about this, one way is to go for DigitalOcean Droplets but you’ll need to manage everything yourself, that is the cheaper option.

The second option would be to use the Managed Platform for deploying your Application and Database
App Platform is a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering that allows developers to publish code directly to DigitalOcean servers without worrying about the underlying infrastructure.
