I am not sure where to put a formal request for features. Highly needed are:

Ways to upgrade to a backed up droplet AFTER creation.

Guaranteed ways to recreate a droplet with original IP.
So there is some reason why the programmers don’t want to, but its possible, please consider.

Provide the ability to turn backups on or off after a droplet has been created
Reserve IP Addresses / Make sure we can keep an IP if we recreate a droplet.
