Hi DO,
I have a droplet with 2GB ram 40GB disk, ubuntu and WordPress installed at sgp1 region and I want to upgrade my server.
I first poweroff the server from web console, the server was down, but the web console still show it as active, so I can’t do anything like taking sanpshot.
Then I poweroff the server in command line, but the situation is the same, web console still show the serve active.
How to handle this? Thanks
ucheng

Hello there,
You can power off the droplet via your DigitalOcean account as well. This option is quite easy to execute and it is available at all times.
The other options are to power off the droplet via ssh or using the console. You can execute shutdown -h now or poweroff
