Heya,

That is just a suggestion by the platform. It gives helpful tips of what products you can use to improve the quality of life of the ones you have.

Volumes are network-based block devices that provide additional data storage for Droplets. You can move them between Droplets, create disk images of them, and resize them at any time.

Hey there! 👋

That message you’re seeing is a just helpful reminder from DigitalOcean about the benefits of using Volumes for your Droplets.

Volumes are essentially additional storage that you can attach to your Droplets. They’re super handy because they allow you to easily expand your storage without needing to resize your entire Droplet. Plus, you can move these volumes between Droplets, making them a great way to manage your data more flexibly.

The message is just a nudge to let you know that using Volumes can help prevent data loss by providing a reliable way to back up your data, manage it across different Droplets, and extend your Droplet’s storage. It’s especially useful if your application is growing, and you’re running out of space on your Droplet or if you need a safe way to store important files.

If you want to dive deeper into what Volumes can do for you, check out the DigitalOcean Volumes Documentation. It’ll guide you through how to set them up and make the most out of them.

Hope this helps! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
