I’ve just changed my designated database over to private IP and I notice that the load times increased by about 3-4 seconds. As soon as I set it back to the public Ip user and have my CMS log into the DB with the public IP everything goes back to being snappy. I followed this guide for ubuntu 16.04.:

I can’t think of a good reason for that to happen. I can think of bad reasons for it to though. I would encourage you to open a support ticket and state what you’ve stated here, so that our team can look at it with all proper context in front of them and determine if there is any problem on our side.
