Private networking and SSH keys

Posted on September 5, 2015

Hello!

I have two Ubuntu Server droplets both with private networking enabled. Both servers are configured for SSH with keys rather than a password (password authentication is explicitly disabled). When trying to copy files from one to the other, I’m asked for the sudo password. My understanding of SSH keys is that they work as a server-client relationship, so is it even possible to have the two authenticate with each other with SSH keys?
